Attraverso la descrizione dei livelli di competenza linguistica che si possono raggiungere, il Consiglio d'Europa ha voluto fornire a tutti coloro che sono implicati nell'insegnamento/apprendimento delle lingue un prezioso strumento che favorisse l'elaborazione dei programmi di apprendimento e il riconoscimento reciproco delle certificazioni nei sistemi di istruzione dei diversi Paesi membri.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/small&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;small&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;"&gt;Il Quadro Comune presenta un vasto repertorio di descrittori delle competenze linguistiche sviluppate durante il percorso di apprendimento da colui che studia una lingua straniera.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/small&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;small&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;"&gt;Sono individuati sei stadi di competenza linguistica (A1/A2, B1/B2, C1/C2) ripartiti in tre più ampi livelli: elementare (A), intermedio (B) ed avanzato (C). E' stata inoltre messa a punto una griglia di autovalutazione che descrive particolareggiatamente le competenze per i sei livelli.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Il Quadro Comune Europeo di Riferimento è consultabile sul sito del &lt;b&gt;Consiglio d'Europa&lt;/b&gt; in lingua inglese e in altre lingue.
